Biking Through The Sawtooths

Bike Ride The Bogus Basin
Mountain biking at Bogus includes trails for beginner to more advanced riders. With the Shafer Butte Trail System, you are able to get out of the valley heat and avoid the congested trails in the foothills. There is no fee and no lift access. Please pack in/pack out if you are using the trails. Trail map link: http://ridgetorivers.cityofboise.org/Trails/SelectAreaDescriptions/page31093.aspx
Lift access happens once a year with our "Big Mountain Roundup" multi-event day. Date/time changes every year so check bogusbasin.org for details. We also have a weekend BBQ at Simplot Lodge (main lodge on entering the area) from the first weekend in June through Labor Day weekend. Come up and have a burger and a refreshing beverage!
